Maretsch Castle, located in the historic centre of Bolzano, features numerous indoor spaces with different characteristics and dimensions that allow for the organization of conferences, exhibitions, weddings and other events. The outer courtyard, framed by the castle walls and beautiful vineyards, is also ideal for musical performances, smaller presentations, and corporate or private aperitifs.

The inner courtyard - a space under the stars

The glass-canopied inner courtyard can accommodate large numbers of people. It is especially suited for grand events such as weddings, concerts, or gala dinners. The inner courtyard is located near the entrance and features a stage.

The garden - an oasis of green

The castle garden is the perfect setting for a civil wedding ceremony or sophisticated drinks event in spring or summer. This fairytale garden with its trees, ancient walls, and vineyards is uniquely memorable.

It has been possible to celebrate civil marriages at Maretsch Castle in the picturesque city of Bolzano since 2018.

The Römer Room - a Renaissance opulent hall

The Römer Room features beautiful depictions of scenes from the Old Testament and ancient Rome dating back to the 16^th century. With its painted wooden ceiling and refined grisaille frescoes, the room is the ideal place for conferences and conventions.

La sala Thun o galleria dei filosofi

This long hall, also known as the Gallery of Philosophers, houses unique frescos dating back to the 16^th century. The frescos feature the seven sages, ancient philosophers, and a character accompanied by the mysterious name Peter Spetsker.

The hall is an ideal location for exhibitions, book presentations, and buffets.

The Hendl Room - a Discrete and Elegant Setting

The painted ceiling and the frescoes of the Hendl Room, depicting garlands, fruits, and birds, date back to the 16^th century. The room, which is situated on the second floor and features the original open fireplace, provides privacy in an elegant setting.
